Although I'm joining in a little late, I've decided to participate this year in the 2nd annual ONE World-ONE Heart event, hosted by Lisa Oceandreamer of Heart of the Nest and Imagination Cafe. ONE World-ONE Heart is a blog-wide giveaway event, designed to bring together bloggers from around the world, who wouldn't ordinarily meet, and to maybe even win a prize or two. 
For my giveaway, I am offering a set of 5 marble magnets, which I've made from flat-back glass marbles and tiny designs that I've recycled from magazines and catalogs. They measure approximately 1/2" in diameter.The rules are simple. Just leave a comment to this post (comments on my other posts won't count), no later than midnight CST on Wednesday, February 13th. On Valentine's Day I will use a random number generator to select a winner, and will post the winner that day. If you haven't left an email in your comment, or if I can't contact you through your blog, you'll need to check back here on the 14th to see if you've won. For my giveaway, I am not requiring that you have a blog in order to enter.
Depending on how this goes, I may offer other giveaways in the future.

Hi, nice to meet you. This is so freaky - As i was taking my morning walk, just half an hour ago, i was thinking of a little treasure I found in an op shop (second hand/thrift, i you probably call it). It was a flat little glass ball with a picture of a bird glued on the back. I was thinking i must try to get some of those little glass blobs to make my own. Then I come home and read your comment on my blog, and naturally come to visit you, only to find those very things i was thinking of!

This is a great idea! However, I just moved across country and have most of my stuff in storage. What I would like to do, is go into as many of the blogs as I can and sign in. If my name gets pulled by anyone as a winner, I will donate $100 to AIDS Foundation in memory of my brother. If my name gets selected more than once, I will up the ante an additional $10 every time it gets pulled (greedy I know, but one can dream!!!) If my name is not pulled by anyone, I will still make a $50 donation. This way, everyone is a winner.
I hope to get my name drawn at least once.
