Here's a quick digital collage for Inspire Me Thursday, where the prompt this week was "seven". Here, there are seven butterflies on a background text of sevens, such as "seven deadly sins", seven virtues", and "seventh son of a seventh son". I can never get the colors here to match my original Photoshop file, so they're a little bit off (probably need to calibrate my monitor). While thinking about what I would do for this challenge, it has been interesting to read about the historical, mythological, and superstitious use of the number seven.

I love how you layered the various elements of 7.
This is neat. I really liked all the info regarding "7" too.
This is lovely. Love the colors and the light and airy feeling to the piece.
So pretty...delicate & textured all at the same time.
Cheryl,
This is beautiful & oh so creative with the subliminal 7s in the background. The butterflies are sublime!
Thanks for your inspiring comments on my blog...and for your inspirational art!
Cheryl...
Love those butterflies and the underlying "seven". Wonderful piece!!
so pretty - love your color scheme!
You've done a great job here. I like the colors you've chosen. I also had fun researching the different aspects of the number 7. Who knew there would be so much to learn?
I like your pice, apparently very simple, but complex when you look into it with more attention. And I love the light colours.
What a lovely gentle image. Very calming.
