There's a Chocolate Cake In Here Somewhere

Tonight was the final class of Wilton Course 2, and here's a shot of my grand finale cake. I had a blast in this class, but it was accelerated due to our teacher's travel schedule, so now I'm very tired! Week after next I'll be starting Course 3, and may be taking Course 4 simultaneously (big class discounts at Michael's in August). I must be out of my mind! I hate to cut this cake after all the work, but it is chocolate under all that icing, so....

This is wonderful, beautiful...fun. What a great job you've done! And you've just given me a blast from my childhood memories. My mom also always made and decorated our birthday cakes and personalized them with our names. Thanks for the sweet memory jog. I can't wait to see what you do next!
